This shortest hike of the region begins from Phedi and it is nearly an hour drive from Pokhara—the City of Lakes. It goes through Deurali, Forest Camp and Low Camp before arriving at High Camp where you gain the highest altitude of the trek—4,500m.

The well-developed hiking trail passes through lush green pine forest. Initially, it is an uphill walk for nearly half an hour until you arrive in the north ridge. Then after, it ascends further penetrating through thick woods until you arrive in the temple of Champadevi.

It takes nearly a total of two hours to get on the top of the hill. You will get a picturesque view of Kathmandu Valley from here as you are at the height of over 2,270m. If weather permits, then you will get heart capturing the distant view of Langtang Himal, GaurishankarHimal, Jugal Himal and Dorje Lakpa.

Dhampus-Sarangkot Trek:
