With ongoing maintenance and renovation of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), most of the domestic flights to various destinations from Kathmandu are subjected to be rerouted. This will also impact flight to Lukla—gateway to Everest Base Camp (EBC).

According to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) of Nepal, the flight to Lukla from Kathmandu will be rerouted via Manthali Airport—headquarter of Ramechhap district.

The press release circulated by the ministry (MoCTCA) reads that the new schedule will come into effect on 1^st April and will last till 30^th July of this year.

Despite change in route to Lukla, the time table of scheduled flight for the issued tickets to Lukla will be the same. So, we request our guest/s to be aware of change in route as this will bring you to Ramechhap while on your way to Lukla and vice-versa.
