Overview:

Our trek is a long yet worth trekking experience. It begins with the trek from Taplejung after the flight to Biratnagar, the second largest city of Nepal. During the trek, trekkers can explore the unique settlements, monasteries and gompas, lush hills and mountains and torrential rivers. While relishing the admirable hospitality of locals despite lacking of touristic infrastructure. Initially, on our trek, we march along the fast flowing Tamor River till the settlement of Margen. Ext, we depart towards the famous Dhunsa village. In between these places, we go through waterfalls and caves at Chiruwa and fertile pastures, small villages and steep trails.

Moving past the cardamom fields, dense forests of bamboo and rhododendron, suspension bridges and Tibetan refugee settlement, we reach Dhunsa. Furthermore, we trek through Miring La Pass (4,650m), along the ridges and reach Tseram after which we hike to Ramche. Now we trek down to Trongten, Sherpa Gaun and then to Phumpe Danda. Here we will enter into the cultural trekking trail of this region. Exploring through the settlements of Kade Bhanjyang and Lali Kharka, we reach Suketar to end of our strenuous trekking experience. And last of all, we take a flight back to Kathmandu from Suketar Airport.

Kanchenjunga Trekking takes you near Mt. Kanchenjunga which is also known as Five Treasures of the Great Snow. This will require you to be physically and mentally healthy as you have to walk on a challenging trail. And that too for about 6-8 hours through steep trails, occasional high passes during harsh weather conditions at high altitudes. Generally, September to November and March to May are the best seasons for this trek.
