Tsum Valley Trek is a less beaten trekking trail of Nepal with untouched wildlife and natural beauty along with isolated geographical structure with city area even of Gorkha.Tsum Valley consists of two parts, one Lower Tsum Valley and another Upper Tsum valley.It is the core area of Himalayan where more hospitable local Tibetan People welcome you to core Himalayan area.This area is full of old Tibetan monasteries along with Mani wall, numerous Chorten.
Story about Guru Padmasambhava
Tsum Valley Trek area still preserves the story about Guru Padmasambhava who visited this hidden valley during his religious tour for spreading the Buddhism. Maybe because of this influence of Guru Padmasambhava, people in Tsum Valley Trekking region never slaughter animal not even as the practice of offering to god which still in practice in other places of Nepal still this day.Encircled by High Mountain on all sides of the valley this is the clandestine valley as it is surrounded by Buddha Himal and Himal Chuli on the western territory along with Ganesh and Sringi Himal on southern and northern premises of the valley respectively.With the maximum altitude of 4060 m during the trek, it is moderately easy treks in Nepal along with beautiful sky during September to November.
Tsum Valley Trek is not allowed to attend without special permit for restricted area and at least one government authorized guide from Nepal should accompany the trek.
