Day 1: Arrival at TIA Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel

Today marks your arrival in the sovereign Himalayan nation of Nepal. You will be greeted warmly, once we come face to face with one another outside terminal hall of the Kathmandu Airport.  Thereafter, you’ll be transferred to your hotel where you can loosen up yourself after a tiresome trip. It’s obvious that the surrounding of this South Asian country will be new for you. So, an evening amble around the lively Thamel market is highly recommended.

Day 2: Kathmandu UNESCO Heritage Tour

The day starts with a sightseeing tour around the Kathmandu City with the UNESCO world heritage sites in the spotlight. Kathmandu Valley takes pride in its religious sites and Durbar Square i.e. adored with fine arts in every corner and bears the historical significance; many of them perfectly befitting to be listed in UNESCO world heritage list. You’ll be visiting those sites. You’ll begin with the holy visit to the sacred Hindu shrine of Pashupatinath situated on the banks of holiest Bagmati River. After paying a visit there; you’ll spend your time admiring the sacred Buddhist shrine of Swayambhunath and Boudhanath. These two Stupas reflect the ancient Buddhist architecture, fine arts, and heritage.  Eventually, you’ll also visit the Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar Squares along with the structures in its vicinity is an exemplary representation of skills and artistry of the ancient Newari artists and craftsmen.  The tour ends with the evening look around the Basantapur Durbar Square. Beside the enchanted twilight, you can offer your tribute to the living goddess Kumari and visit the freak street, the Kaal Bhairav, the Swet Bhairav and other landmarks that the Basantapur Durbar Square flaunts.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2,840m) by Yeti Air and Trek to Phakding (2,610m) (35 minutes in flight, 2-3 hours)

It’s the third day and we commence our splendid trek, to prominent Everest region aka Khumbu region via a short 35 minutes scenic flight to the town of Lukla (2,840m). We arrive at Lukla Airport, watching the awe-inspiring view of snow-capped peaks in the mighty Himalayas, terraced farmlands and rivers with curving path during the fight minutes. We go ahead with our trek accompanied by the initial sightings of the Nubur Himal and Phari peak. With several ascends and descends, the trail passes past the Mani walls, prayer stones and banks of Thado Koshi. Afterward, we cross the Thado Koshi River via a traditional-styled suspension bridge to observe the alluring Kusum-Kangaru Peak (6,367m), well-renowned as most difficult of the so-called “trekking peaks”. Meanwhile, we pursue the trail come across numerous suspension bridge and small villages. The village of Ghat (2,590m) is the most noteworthy among the tiny human settlements. This small village is prettified by lush vegetation with Snowy Mountain as the backdrop. Ultimately, we arrive at the village of Phakding (2,610m).

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) (5-6 hours)

Today, we will trek to Namche Bazaar aka “Gateway to Mt. Everest”, leaving behind the beautiful village of Phakding. With the initial stretch of the trail being comparatively easy, we ascend uphill on the trail that we tend to share with others!! They are none other than yaks and locals that pass by us. It’s fascinating to see these animals trailing behind each other forming an animal train. Subsequently, the trail passes through the lively forest of magnolias and rhododendrons with a virtually ceaseless sight of sublime mountains. After a few hours of trekking; we eventually arrive at the village of Monjo (2840m), also celebrated as “Gateway to Sagarmatha National Park”; thereafter, we arrive at Jorsale (2830m). We proceed further on the trail; we face the eminent Khumbu River that has its origin from notorious Khumbu Glacier. We now move across the river via suspension bridge and praise the exquisite outlook of Tabuche Mountain that coincides with the very bridge. From this point onwards, we follow the trail that abruptly ascends uphill to Namche Bazaar. The steep climb is rewarded upon reaching Namche; with the vistas that bestow the first peek of the predominant Mt. Everest throughout this entire trek. Apart from views, The Namche Bazaar exploration is delightful in itself. A tour of the Sherpa Museum will enlighten you with traditional Sherpa lifestyle, the vegetations present in the region, the historical events in mountaineering alongside phenomenal photography exhibited by a native Nepalese naturalist.

Day 5: Trek to Khumjung Village (3,789m) (3-4 hours)

Starting the day with the abrupt one hour ascend to Shyangboche airstrip (3,790m). Afterward, we gently ascend to Khunde Village advancing past numerous chorten (stone Buddhist monuments). From here, we now proceed with the trail that leads eastward to Khumjung Village (3,789m): The largest village of Khumbu region established on the base of the holy peak Khumbila (5,761m). The Khumjung village renders prepossessing outlook of the enchanted Mt. Everest.

Day 6: Fly to Kathmandu by Helicopter and transfer to Hotel (2-2.5 flight hours)

The day six marks the end of trekking in this region though you are still with us until tomorrow. After some brief sessions of reposing activities such as meditation and yoga; we’ll check out of the hotel and fly to Kathmandu via Helicopter. It’s a dream come true. You are flying by the highest peak in the world, the mighty Mt. Everest!! The moment is fascinating in itself!! Additionally, you’ll get to see the jaw-dropping mid-air view of the Himalayas and above you can observe the clear endless blue sky. The words are insufficient to describe the event. The only way to know how those moments feel like is to experience it yourself; and these mesmerizing moments if experienced once, will never fade from your memories in your lifetime. After your arrival at Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Either you can spend you rest of the day relaxing or enjoying the hotel facilities or you can tour around the city clicking pictures as the memento of your stay in this Himalayan country.

Day 7: Final Departure

The seventh day indicates the end of your adventures with us.
