The journey to Langtang valley gets started from Sherpa village of Syaprubesi after 6-7 hours of drive from Kathmandu valley. In Langtang Valley Trek, we march along the Langtang River through dense forest and across suspension bridges to reach the Lama hotel and proceed further to the Langtang village. Exploring further along the trek, we reach to the ancient Kyanjin Gompa where monks practice the ancient Buddhist religious practices. Moving through the Langtang National Park, we are in the home to the abundance of biodiversity (100 species of flora and 150 species of birds and wild animals) including the rare Red Panda, musk deer, Himalayan black bear, elusive snow leopard, Himalayan Thar, jackal and Danphe (the national bird of Nepal). We trek to the Kyanjin Ri peak and the lateral moraine of the Langtang glacier. We trek back along the previously traced route through Kyanjin Gompa, Lama Hotel and syaprubesi to Kathmandu. In between we cross rivers and gorges, pay visit to the local yak cheese factory, get mesmerized with varieties of flora and fauna and majestic waterfalls among many other amusements.
