“Go on an adventure to the world’s highest mountain while exploring the ecologically, geologically and culturally diverse Khumbu region of Nepal.”

Our Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most popular and classic trek of Nepal which follows in the footsteps of the legendary mountaineer duo of Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary. With highlights including the spectacular Khumbu Glacier, the fast flowing Imja river and the culturally rich town of Namche Bazaar, our trek takes us through the enchanting Khumbu region where you can experience forested mountain wilderness & learn about in-depth about the ancient cultural norms of Tibetan Buddhism. Marvel at the ancient monasteries, cross suspension bridges strewn with colorful prayer flags and observe the daily lifestyle of the diverse ethnic communities who call this mystical region their homeland.

After arrival in Kathmandu you will have the opportunity to visit some of the great cultural sites of Kathmandu valley such as the Hindu shrine of Pashupatinath temple, the historical Patan Durbar Square and the ancient Buddhist shrines of Boudhanath & Swayambhunath Stupa (the Monkey Temple). We will then leave Kathmandu behind with a flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Khumbu region. From here we begin our trekking and head towards Namche Bazaar (3,440m) via Phakding. Namche Bazaar is also referred to as the unofficial Sherpa capital of Khumbu region and a popular spot for trekkers to relax and acclimatize to the high altitude. Next, we pass through the Sherpa settlements of Tengboche (3,860m) & Dingboche (4,410m), then further to Lobuche and the highest accommodation point of Gorakshep, from where the final ascent to EBC (Everest Base Camp) at 5,364m begins. Prior to this ascent you will have the opportunity to hike up to the top of Kalapatthar and witness the tantalizing views of the great glaciers and the imposing peak of Mount Everest along with other Himalayan massifs. We will then begin our descent through the settlements of Pheriche, Namche Bazaar and en dour trek at Lukla by flying back to Kathmandu

Requiring an average amount of physical fitness, our EBC trek can be done by any individual who has the ability to walk on a rough Himalayan terrain for about 5-6 hours a day. Moreover, some prior preparation which include cardiovascular activities will make the trip all the more comfortable and enjoyable for trekkers. So, don’t wait any longer!
