Manaslu Circuit Trekking

‘the breathtaking journey around world 8th highest peak Manaslu and experience the unique Tibetan culture’

Manaslu Circuit Trek is one of the most magnificent off the beaten trekking around the World’s third highest peak, the majestic Mount Manaslu which stands at the height of 8163 m/ 26781.49 ft above the sea level. The trail was officially opened to foreigners in 1991 and still treated as one of the restricted region trekking in Nepal unlike Annapurna Base Camp Trek and Everest Base Camp Trek. The trekking offers to witness the amazing biological diversity of the region with its rich local heritage.

The beginning of the trail follows the Budhi Gandaki river with deep, long river gorge and crossing with many suspension bridges after a scenic 6-7 hours of drive to Soti Khola. It offers the entire thing which the nature lover presumes on their breathtaking journey. On this trek, the travelers walk from lush sub-tropic to the highest mountains in the world. The crossing of the challenging Himalayan Larkye-La Pass which stands at the elevation of 5106 m/16751.91 fits one of the attracting features of this trek. Witnessing the dense rhododendron forests with scattered wild inhabitants including the blue sheep is another highlight of Manaslu Circuit Trek.

On the Manaslu Circuit trail, one can accumulate the delightful cultural experience of the Tibetan people. Also, the traveler gets a chance witness the traditional Buddhists temples and other Buddhists architectures throughout the journey.

The trek is wild and remote, yet gaining its popularity since 2010 which is resulting in the construction of teahouses on the trail for the easiness of the trekkers.
