“Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.”

Annapurna Sanctuary Trekking has a lot to offer to those who want to explore the world-famous Annapurna region. You can find everything from the diverse culture of Magar and Gurung communities to the breathtaking Himalayan landscape of the Annapurna Ranges. Explore awe-inspiring lakes, glaciers, mountain pastures and natural hot springs. Besides that, travelers also get to explore the streets of Kathmandu and Pokhara cities. And furthermore, helps you experience friendly hospitality and learn about Nepalese tradition.

Our Annapurna Trekking adventure begins with a 7-hour long drive to the western city of Pokhara (800m). Enjoy the pleasing views of Mt. Fishtail while strolling along the iconic Phewa Lake. Next, we take another drive which takes us away from Pokhara and towards Nayapool (1,100m). We put our first steps down to begin our long-awaited trek inside Annapurna region. As planned, we steadily move to Tikkhedhunga village (1,550m) and further ahead to Ghorepani which is a lovely Gurung village to stay in. The very next day, we shall go on a hike to the popular vantage point of Poonhill before sunrise.

Upon reaching atop Poonhill, you can experience a breathtaking view of the entire Annapurna range alongside Mt. Dhaulagiri and other Himalayan massifs. No wonder, this place is considered as the best viewpoint in the entire Annapurna region. From here, we now have to head to Tadapani (2,650m) and enjoy the soothing hot springs after reaching Ghinu (1,780m). An ascend to Tolka village (1,850m) follows next. We then move ahead to Australian Base Camp (2,050m). The final phase of our trek starts from here as we begin descending to Pokhara city.

With an itinerary designed to provide a steady rate of acclimatization along with the best mountain views, this trek with us is sure to be imprinted in your memory for long. Being a relatively moderate trek, our journey doesn’t go at extreme high altitudes. However, an above average physical fitness is required nonetheless.

Great guide, unforgettable trek

We came as a group of friend last year for a trek in the Annapurnas, going with Luxury Holidays' services and Keshab was our guide. More than being a blast for your eyes all throughout the walking in the mountains, Keshab made of our trek something unforgettable bringing some small moments during the 5 days. Dedicated to your travel experience would be what suits best for Luxury Holiday Trek. Would recommend for sure.

The Poon Hill trek is awesome and Keshab, our guide, was really nice and ready to help for everything else related to our stay in Nepal. Looking for a trek, go for it !

Never End Peace And Love

The trip was superbly organised and run throughout our two weeks in Nepal! We were welcomed at the airport and taken to a hotel we had pre-booked before getting to Pokhara (Where our trek would start) a couple of days later. Keshab was a fantastic guide whilst we were trekking around the Anapurnas and his knowledge of the region and country was invaluable! Everything was always well organised and on time from the walking, the accommodations and we even had a few special surprises! I highly recommend his services and this trek was a once in a lifetime experience that everyone would enjoy without a doubt!
