Overview:

Our Annapurna Trekking adventure begins with a 7-hour long drive to the western city of Pokhara (800m). Enjoy the pleasing views of Mt. Fishtail while strolling along the iconic Phewa Lake. Next, we take another drive which takes us away from Pokhara and towards Nayapool (1,100m). We put our first steps down to begin our long-awaited trek inside Annapurna region. As planned, we steadily move to Tikkhedhunga village (1,550m) and further ahead to Ghorepani which is a lovely Gurung village to stay in. The very next day, we shall go on a hike to the popular vantage point of Poonhill before sunrise.

Upon reaching atop Poonhill, you can experience a breathtaking view of the entire Annapurna range alongside Mt. Dhaulagiri and other Himalayan massifs. No wonder, this place is considered as the best viewpoint in the entire Annapurna region. From here, we now have to head to Tadapani (2,650m) and enjoy the soothing hot springs after reaching Ghinu (1,780m). An ascend to Tolka village (1,850m) follows next. We then move ahead to Australian Base Camp (2,050m). The final phase of our trek starts from here as we begin descending to Pokhara city.

With an itinerary designed to provide a steady rate of acclimatization along with the best mountain views, this trek with us is sure to be imprinted in your memory for long. Being a relatively moderate trek, our journey doesn’t go at extreme high altitudes. However, an above average physical fitness is required nonetheless.
