“Exploration is really the essence of the human spirit so why not explore the stunning Annapurna region for an everlasting trekking experience.”

Commonly referred to as the “Annapurna Sanctuary Trek”, our Annapurna Base Camp Trek is agreeably one of the most noteworthy trek in Nepal that goes from the foothills of Nepal to the high Himalayan base camp of the revered Mt. Machapuchare (6,947m) and the highlighted Mt. Annapurna ‎(8,091m) which is also the tenth highest mountain in the world. Trekkers can even witness the diverse variety of floral vegetation and wildlife while gaining splendid Himalayan views worth remembering for their entire lifetime.

Overview:

Famous for its breathtaking sunrise views over the great Himalayan summits, this 15 day ABC trek starts off from the western town of Nayapool and then simply continues on to follow a classic route that passes through numerous hills, valleys, rivers and villages. Likewise, the initial points of our trek will be Tikhedhunga, Ghorepani, Chhomorong, Dovan and Deurali. You can experience stunning natural trails occupied by culturally vibrant local ethnic villages and enjoy the relishing company of lush green vegetation and forests filled with blossoming rhododendron trees during your trekking endeavor. Wild subtropical flora and fauna thrive verdantly all over this spectacular region due to which you never know what you may encounter during your 15- day venture. Additionally, you can embrace the enormity of the mountains and experience close cultural encounters all at once. Last but not the least, after arriving at the ABC you are bound to be captivated by the mesmerizing amphitheater created by the surrounding Mt. Annapurna I, Mt. Gangapurna, Mt. Fang, Mt. Machapuchare and Tare Kang (Glacier Dome). After finishing our exploration, we shall now begin descending down back to end our trek by reaching Pokhara. However, before doing so we are going to take a short visit to Jhinu Danda for the soothing natural hot springs where trekkers can spend time to relax and ease their exhausted muscles.

Our trek is uniquely designed to take travelers through the moderately demanding trekking trails which doesn’t require much physical fitness level. Also, we recommend March to May and September to November as the prime time to go for this trek. Contact Luxury Holiday Treks today and join our 15 days Annapurna Base Camp trek to relish the moments of trekking in the natural sanctuary of Annapurna region with our professionally experienced trekking staffs.

Annapurna Base Camp

We did the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Luxury Holiday Treks last October. We went together with Keshab as the guide with Nirajan as the porter and it was a memorable experience.Despite sounding very challenging, ABC was actually quite a relaxing trek. We did it in around 12 days and kept it very relaxing and casual.

Annapurna 2016

This trek was great! I did the ABC trek with a group of friends over 9 days. Keshab took care of every detail which was no easy task considering almost every member of our group had different travel requirements.

Annapurna Base Camp - Trip of a Lifetime

I tackled the Annapurna Base Camp Trek along with five friends (all 27-28 years of age) and my father (64 years of age) in April 2016. Without a doubt this was the trip of a lifetime, being full of spectacular views, beautiful scenery and challenging ascents. Our route began in Naya Pul, making our way through Ghorepani before ascending Annapurna Base Camp. Upon setting off we were immediately in 'real Nepal', passing through beautiful mountainous scenery and traditional Nepalese villages. The paved path retained a steady incline until we reached Ghorepani, where the views were simply breath taking. Throughout the rest of the trek the views remained incredible. The route also passed through lush rhododendron forests and water springs, which added to the mystique and appreciation of the mountainous region. The path became noticeably more challenging after Chomrong as the route went up the Annapurna valley. The track became less paved and the steps noticeably steeper - to the concern of my father who had difficulty on the downhill steps due to his hip replacement surgery one year before. If in a good state of health however the route will provide a fun challenge. Our guides Keshab and Raja were wonderful. They were both warm and welcoming and concerned for our needs throughout the whole trip. They also displayed professionalism and in-depth knowledge of the region, as well as speaking perfect English. Keshab often checked on everyone, making sure no one was struggling, ensuring we stopped regularly for food and drink breaks. At each break he endeavoured to swiftly collect our orders, recommend dishes and take payment for the bill. He also set realistic distances between the tea houses that we would be sleeping at each night, selecting the best ones available. At the conclusion of each day he would ensure that we were all comfortable at the tea house and socialised with us in the evenings, which was much appreciated by the group. Raja was particularly helpful with my father, taking his bag for him during long uphill sections and walking at the same pace as him. He also happily volunteered to take my father a gentler route when he decided not to ascend Annapurna Base Camp.Thank you for making this a trip of a lifetime.
